NSW Creative Kids Program
Starting from 2019, the NSW Government is helping kids to be creative with its new program. We are proud as a registered activity provider, making school-aged kids easier to be involved in our Public Speaking and Debating, STEAM, Coding, Creative Writing, and Languages courses with the rebate voucher. Our Programs
Coding and Scratch
Coding and Game Design (Scratch) empowers kids to not only consume digital media and technology, but to create it. Instead of simply playing video games, they can design and creative their own video games. When kids code, they take complex problems and break them down into smaller parts. Kids learn what it’s like to approach a problem with logical and computational thinking. This logical thinking is a powerful tool in school, work, and life.
3D Printing and STEAM
Students learn the process of how a 3D printer is able to create the final product. They are also encouraged to think about how this machinery can be used to help industries in the real world. In the STEAM classes, students look at science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics in a creative and engaging way. This is more of a practical class where students need to build and construct various projects and work in teams.
Creative Writing
The Writing Program will helps the students enhance the way they combine words to create a more engaging and entertaining piece to attract readers. Students will experiment and explore with different types of writing (narratives, poems, speeches, etc.) to create many different pieces. This program is taught alongside the Reading Program as students will be able to incorporate different words and phrases they come across in the Reading Program to experiment out in their writing pieces. Students are taught how to write a variety of texts, with sophisticated language and creative and engaging plots.
Languages (French and Mandarin)
Students are taught the basics first and once the basics are formed, everyday phrases that are necessary to form a general conversation in the country are taught. Reading and writing in these languages are also taught as they are important as learning how to speak in these languages.
Public Speaking and Debating
Students in these classes are focused on improving the speaking skills. Including the way they present themselves and how to structure their speeches. Debating is an important skill where students will need to find evidence to support their arguments. They are also taught the importance of being persuasive and accurate to win an argument.
After School Program
Our sessions designed to play with purpose: we introduce theory by hands-on experiments such as STEAM and Coding Technology. We enrich their vision by teaching them astronomy and biology. We develop their social skill by teaching them speech and foreign languages.
Talented Start Programs
With improved coordination and thinking the world begins to open up for preschoolers, our program introduces language, numeracy, arts, problem solving, cognitive skills, and social skills in a natural sequence to nourish learning one step and a time, with individual attention suited to your child’s unique needs.
Ready For Kindy
Your child will gain independence while getting ready for the transition to kindergarten with a more organized environment.
We focus on improving the transition from early learning to the first year of school. Children will be assessed during the orientation. In this level, children will be encouraged to demonstrate phonological awareness, knowledge of the alphabet, and reading and writing skills. They will also learn how to use and understand number, patterns, sorting, and ordering, plus using addition, subtraction, measuring, and graphing skills.
